Common questions

A few useful answers.

When will ChoreChart be available?

The iPhone release is coming soon. Android is still in active development. This page will be updated with store links when each version is ready.

Does ChoreChart require an account?

ChoreChart is designed to be useful in local-only mode. Optional sign-in and cloud sync may be available in the released version for families that want to share information between devices.

Can more than one child use it?

Yes. Each child can have their own profile, colour theme, chores, points, achievements and savings progress within one family setup.

What is ADHD-friendly mode?

It breaks a larger chore into smaller, focused steps and shows one clear action at a time. It is a practical focus aid, not a medical product or treatment.

Does the app move real money?

No. Parents can choose a points-to-dollar value to help children understand saving and pocket money, but ChoreChart does not hold funds, make payments or provide financial advice.

Where is family information stored?

Core app information is stored on the device. If optional cloud sync is enabled in your version, selected family information may also be stored in Google Firebase. See the privacy page for details.

What should I include in a bug report?

Please include the device model, iOS or Android version, ChoreChart version, the screen you were using and the steps that led to the problem. Screenshots are helpful, but remove any family information you do not want to share.

Can I suggest a feature?

Absolutely. Email hello@goodfield.studio with the problem you want to solve and how it affects your family.
